This was born out of a social media collaboration between a few different old Hollywood-themed fanpages on Instagram. Each of the collaborators was tasked with choosing a classic or historic film and creating a slide about what made it a significant example of cinematic history. I chose the 1933 Czech art film Ecstasy, and took cues from period European design to inform my aesthetic choices. After making my slide, I went further and imagined what a matching poster for the film might look like, using a size that could easily work as a phone's wallpaper.
